Net revenue generated by King Digital Entertainment made up 23% of Activision Blizzard's revenue for the quarter ending March 31, according to financial statements released by the company.
Additionally, revenue from digital distribution channels for the company grew to 64%, from 45% of the total for the same period last year, an all-time quarterly record for Activision Blizzard.
Overall, Activision Blizzard reported a better-than-expected first quarter for its fiscal year.
The acquisition of King Digital Entertainment was officially closed in February, with Activision Blizzard buying all of King's outstanding shares for $18 USD each, for a total value of $5.9 billion.
