Activision has officially purchased Candy Crush Saga makers, King.
The deal sees Activision procure all of the outstanding shares of King for $18 each, making for a total equity value of $5.9 billion. And according to the press release, Activision is now able to reach over 500 million users.
“We see great opportunities to create new ways for audiences to experience their favorite franchises, from Candy Crush to World of Warcraft to Call of Duty and more, across mobile devices, consoles and personal computers,” says Activision’s Bobby Kotick.
