This weekend, New Yorkers let their fandom show by turning out in some amazing, well-crafted cosplay during this weekend's New York Comic-Con. Hundreds of costumed fans got into character, and we captured some of the best in a massive 300+ pic gallery.
There were some amazing Batmen from Batman vs. Superman, more than a couple of Furiosas, tons of Destiny cosplay, and quite a few well-appointed mutants. Creativity and depth were the keywords at the event. The oft-unsung heroes got their due in costume form and many dressed as alternate or toy versions of their favorite characters.
Look for an amazing Raiden, an outstanding Mr. Freeze, a spot-on Nosferatu, and a glorious Muto from Godzilla. Spider-Woman, Hawkgirl, Princess Amidala, Mystique, gender-swapped Booster Gold, Ratchet, Venom... the list goes on and on!
